Your avatar - what is it, what does it stand for, why did you choose it?

Mine is an Amur Leopard from the Wildlife Heritage Foundation in Kent. A rare and beautiful cat (i.e. not like me at all). It is a picture I rather like and when I joined the forum I had not long had a Pentax DSLR and so this was one of the few pics I had taken with it! so I thought why not...

Mine is a character from Neon Genesis Evangelion named Kensuke Aida.
I chosed the avatar because he looks like me and has this wise-ass pose.

Maybe i should update mine...

It's the top of a buoy on the Isles of Scilly with the texture of a sheet of nori.

Not sure why though!!!

Mine is simply a picture that I liked as soon as I took it, and more importantly works even as a tiny image.

It isn't really a picture of me though
My own website is www.richardgaddphotography.com

As previously mentioned, and no doubt long fogotten, my own avatar is me. Shot by friend and glamour photographer Paul Jones - www.pauljones.org - and conveying a sense of mystery....if anyone cares to look at it that way.

Being wrapped in shadows does help to hide the unwanted details though....
Best regards, John

Mine is a patch on the arm of my leather jacket, which I painted many years ago, to represent my nick name.

Over the years it has got me into trouble with people thinking I've joined some rival biker group.

If you see the patch around....... that'll be me!

park near Wigan.... just used it because it was different than a

It's the face of Charlie - a 3ft resin cow who lives in our garden. Bunged it on quickly when I first joined, thinking it would be temporary for a few days until I got something better/slicker sorted out. But after 6 months it would be cruel now to ditch it, and anyway Mike-P called it 'strange' the other day... which is a top flight endorsement

Mine is the result of more favoured options not working

I just wanted something a bit daft, the more observant of you may have noticed that I don't take myself or anything else for that matter 'too seriously'

My user name is a little unimaginative but whilst I was setting my account up I was on the phone for some of the time talking to my niece who calls me 'uncle stuey' but that may have come across in the wrong way so I shortened it
