My wife Trish caught me thinking about my next shot rather than what I probably should have been doing! Mind you it was on holiday in Greece!!
Looks like my dad after he switched Minoltas from TLR to SLR.

As for myself, it's myself, with an air of mystery. Shot with a webcam in a previous house (high above the Russian River north of San Francisco), PP'd to death with PaintShopPro3 during the last century. Still looks rather like me.

Someone on the dutch forum used precisely the same avatar as yours.

Maybe we should do a week again where you show your own face as your avatar.

I had got the helmet from the visitor centre at Lava Beds National Monument in CA, and spent the afternoon exploring lava tubes
I proposed to my now wife in a lava tube, as you do . Maybe we need to play the 'six degrees of Kevin Bacon' game with the Avatars.

Mine is just blank, as I would not know how to change it to anything other ??.
There are some of us, that are not computer tech wizards.

Take care.

Find a photo/picture you like, which isn't copyrighted to someone else, resize it to 80x80 pixels.
Load it to the site you use for posting photos here.
Go to your profile under My Settings (top right of your screen, by your login) click Profile information.
Bottom left is where you can add your avatar. You place a link to your photo on it's hosting website in the box and hey presto you have an avatar.

It doesn't need to be hosted anywhere, you can browse to a picture of your choice on your own computer and providing it is small enough then it will be uploaded as your avatar.

The way you resize an existing picture will vary according to what software you use, but generally there will be an 'image size' option, use that and then save the result under a different name and that's the image to upload.
My own website is www.richardgaddphotography.com

Also on 500px

Ah, I see you now. I had always seen your avatar as just a scrunched up bit of paper with glasses drawn on in pencil!

Many thanks to Gwyn and Karma.
For your input/advice, but I am afraid that each case is beyond my computer skills.

Take care.
