I have tried penta2040 too and it does not work for me. I have the 20-40 lens on the shopping list as well.

Some great prices there Chris, especially for the DFA 15-30 which I now have in my sticky fingers, can't wait to give it a proper try-out.

Thanks again

Really tempted by that but I have bought too much over the last couple of weeks.

Still got a few days to talk myself into it though.

Morning all,

Just to you all updated on other offers.

Instant discounts have increased on cameras for this weekend.

K-1 - £350 instant discount (instead of £250) - so body only is effectively £1649
We've also managed to acquire some more K-1 Silver Limited Edition. We are doing these at £2049 less £350 = £1699. This includes the grip and 2x batteries

To obtain the discount, use the coupon code pentaxk1 in the relevant section on the website.

KP - £200 instant discount (instead of £100) - Brings the body down to £799 or the lens kit to £899. Use code pentaxkp in the relevant section on the website.

K-70 - £100 instant discount AND a free 50mm F1.8! - Brings the body down to £499, the 18-50 kit to £529, the twin lens kit to £749 and the 18-135mm kit to £849. You can probably guess the discount code, but for clarity it pentaxk70 Stock will be with me later today.

K-3 II - £100 instant discount. We are also doing a special price on the body of £749 so with this discount this will be £649. The 18-135mm kit become £909. The discount code for this is (unsurprisingly!) pentaxk3ii

D-BG6 K-1 Grips are £179
D-BG7 KP Grips are £179

Any questions, please ask...

Great - just bought the K1 last week and see it has now got an additional £100 off. Rubbish.

Did you buy it online? If so you can return it up to 14 days from the day you received your camera and repurchase it at the lower price. Most dealers would just refund the difference but if not insist on your legal right! The camera doesn't have to be faulty to do this.

Before getting 'legal' it might be worth speaking to your friendly dealer to see what he can do for you....

He didn't say it was from yourselves Chris. Had it not been it could have been time critical and his only recourse! I wonder why he didn't just contact you to ask about it rather than complain here. Odd.

I can understand the frustration.

This unfortunately happens whenever there is an offer. We didn't get a massive amount of notice on the camera deals which are funded by the manufacturer.

I'm happy to sort the situation.
