I really like your work Peter the train shots are wonderful, steam trains are so much nicer, and your conflicting curves shot is superb, well done keep them coming.

Thank you for the compliment, John.

Would it spoil it for the viewer to know that the 'Curves' pic was not really planned out?

I liked the way the evening sunlight was coming through and catching the girders, but I didn't really see an obvious focus to the shot.

I think of all my subjects, I am most comfortable with railway photography. I think a good shot needs a good location and a bit of luck. The subject suits my style as I am a bit less of an artist and a bit more of a technician.

But I am looking on the gallery at other's composition and learning from that.

Regards,
Peter
