One intended attendee here..

I am just over 2hrs from Capel Curig, so can make most locations at any reasonable time.

(reasonable is defined as not before 07:00)

I still see nothing stopping my attendance 2 hours would see me hit Llanberis and defo not before 0700 !!!!! I think 0800 ish ..maybe a whisker earlier would be good for me ... might even bring my latest acquisition along .... thought I'd dip my toe into M43 so sunday before last got a Panasonic Lumix GX1 - rather liking it so far

I'm still 50/50 on this, if you can give an idea of some points along the way that I could possibly tag on that would be great.

How about the Car Park in Llaberis next to Llyn Padran - then wander the 100 or so yards to Pete's eats for a brew/buttie etc for 8 to 8.30am Saturday 20.4.13

Nearer the time, once we have a better idea of the weather perhaps we could ask Simon Kit for some more tips on locations and we can use these to help decide the exact locations as these may change due to the weather:

Mike/Droopsnoot - we should have no issues advisng where we will be in route and I can pm you my mobile number to assist (probably best sending my mobile to al attendee's to assist)

Other ideas are more than welcome

I meant Llyn Padarn - easy parking and Pete's Eats is just up the road into Llanberis on the right

from memoery llanberis pass is rather scenic.

am toying with the idea of staying over but not found any available accom that I liked the look/price of t so may stick to just a day trip.

Mike, there's a Premier Inn down in Caernarfon, probably your best bet.
About time the weather warmed-up though, still damn cold around here

Cobden's does accomodation and decent beer - not stayed there but have purchased enough beer to be wobbly

When visibility is good the Llanberis pass is very scenic

thanks chaps... have booked a place I've stayed at before that's half way home - nr Mold - so breaks my journey home up and I'll shoot some stuff round that area on the Sunday

If you are staying near Mold that's only 14 miles or so from me so car sharing for the trip maybe a possibility and also you might be worth giving Simon Kit a shout as Mold is his stomping ground - he may be able to advise on a pub or two

OK cool lets touch base nearer the time. I tihnk I prob know where I want to eat as dined there before and it's a stunningly good place and I'm not a drinker...at all... so no need for pubs
