I didn`t get where I am today by running out of ale.
Don't worry too much, this time tomorrow you'll be getting over the withdrawal symptoms.

Sadly yes - running tonight - taking the little fella to football tomorrow followed by a run, the gym and a self defence class on Thursday night = beer Friday & Saturday nights
Being under the afluence of incohol is a phrase from an old friend that I find funny - shame I can't remember a few more of his - I'll give it a go

I just turned the heating on.
It was 14C in the house, and I was shivering, even with a thick fleece on. So after a lousy summer autumn seems to have arrived early.

I'm still holding out - it was 9C earlier today .
Got some heat in my living room by opening the door to the sun lounge [ glass walls and roof ] I've got a wool cardigan on .
I'm trying to hold out till the end of the month - then I'll put the Night Storage heaters on .
