I'll admit that that was my thought - but I wasn't sure - the request came from the USA to me

Don't think I've ever heard of it (Red Ale) but then I lived in east anglia from 1978 until 2006 ? There was a drink called Amber Ale sold in pint bottles, I believe it was Brown Ale for non drinkers.

Looked at the link and have never seen that label, maybe a spoof to tie in with the TV series "True Blood". I remember a drink sold in Flowers Brewery pubs called Dragons Blood. A common nickname for McEwans Strong Ale was Mau Mau, used to be sold in small dark green bottles about the same size as babycham bottles. Am no longer a member of the drinking fraternity

I think you mean Starbright, but that was on draught.

No it was definitely Amber Ale, produced by Newcastle Breweries, before they amalgamted and became Scottish & Newcastle.
Two Young Ladies would enter the ale house, with restricted funds, and politely ask "giznamber split" and a bottle of Amber and two glasses, either half pint or schooner would be supplied. The more hardy womenfolk would ask "giza bottle a broon split". ie Newcastle Brown Ale. Of course should a "Homeward Bounder" enter and ask the ladies what they were drinking, the same people would request a bottle each.

Buying a Pentax doesn't make you a photographer. It makes you a Pentax owner.

Neither does buying a canon, Nikon and, definitely not, buying a Sony!

But a Pentax can help get better results...

... I can hear Gwyn coming, quick change the subject..

They do TEN LITRE BOXES of wine in France, one'll keep us going for a day or two...

So the next obvious question is: Does drinking French wine and owning a Pentax make you a better photographer:
