By 'chips' I assume you mean deep fried Twixes/Twix/Twixa.

(What is the plural of Twix. Or is Twix the plural so is the singular Twixum? I need to know! Wikipedia is no help)

As a Twix is a singles item even though it contain two "fingers" it is referred to as a Twix eg "I'll have a Mars Bar and a Twix please" whereas to purchase two or more of the same item the correct way to ask is "I'll have a Mars Bar and (insert number required here) Twixes please. Hope this helps. Of course if you are still uncertain please feel free to consult a higher authority.

I am concerned that several posts on here refer
to deep fried Mars Bars without the necessary

I don't think anyone got approval from Mars to land a spacecraft on their planet either. Now everyone is wanting to do it

Other planets are available for abuse by Earthlings Anyone know where the healthy bits are on Mars? Apart from the batter made with beer! There we go, back on target - alcohol.

Been busy, looking after grand children, sailing, visiting exhibitions, taking photos.

Oh and wrecking my netbook . Red wine and red netbooks don't mix.

Can't afford a new one, and the insurance says I was careless.

Have thought of wrecking my netbook, it is a lot slower than I'd expected. I'd not buy another, I'd get a proper laptop. On the other hand I can use it for email, and weighs next to nothing

My netbook travels with me, I bung al my photos on it and from it onto a hardrive, and also use it for storing GPS logs when away.
Plus internet access of course. Wouldn't use it for anything else really.

A full size laptop is not so handy to carry about, and weighs more.
A tablet is no use for what I need, and I have to have Windows for the logger.
It is a real bummer. I loved my netbook.

Gwyn,

My three year-old granson poured hot coffee over my daughter's netbook and recently threw the TV remote through their new 55" TV screen while watching children's program where they were thowing similar objects around. Insurance not sympathetic in either case. Hard to find a remote in their house now and the boys watch a small TV!

I think the Insurance companies are getting less sympathetic nowadays
