Ah the P and M Panther!

Phelon and Moore built these beasts in Clekheaton, not to far from where I am in Bradford.

My Grandfather had one long before I was born, so my mother tells me.

For more info see this clicky link

I remember from many years ago a cartoon. A number of footballers are standing around looking worried. One of them is saying "We've been drawn against the Panther Owner's Club". In the background there are a a group of men with massive right legs.

I have a LOT of that in the back - but I still need to attack the front which has what we call wee chuckies and in the passing of time the weed proof membrane has degraded and the wee so and sos are making their presence felt

Swop you - last Guiness Premier League game of the season and we should have warm dry and sunny weather. Bath's backs traditionally play best with sun on their backs. So what have we got? Grey skies, intermitant drizzle and a temp circa 9C

Understand it's perked up again in Sidney.

And a beautiful sunny day of 21 degrees C here in Melbourne also Steve - it's a shame that circumstances didn't allow you to come and visit.

i-Berg - had the pleasure of a couple night your way back in Jan 07. Drove round fron Sidney on the Princes Highway. Not the most interesting of drives but saw a lot of Australia that overseas tourists don't normally see.

Found the Melborne road system a bit of a challenge, especially the TAG system which wasn't very user friendly to short stay visitors like us.

Most of my photo's from that trip are not showable on this forum - using a Fuji Finepix 9500 mainly, plus an MZ50 with Velvia and an *ist with Pro 160C (later shown to have a shutter problem that wiped 1/3 of my images out )

This is turning into a real ' not my day' day

Nice sunny day so I have to weedkill

Now TV has got stuck on 'stand by ' and I can't get it off that.

I've done

1) switched TV off - didn't work

2) Switched TV off and also switched off at socket -- didn't work

3) Played with the battery in the remote control [ new battery last night] - still no go

Anyone got any more ideas to try ?

Don't seem to have an instruction book for the TV so can't look for a solution there

Had Virgin out yesterday for a new Set top box as my old one wasn't working and we had new Smart Cards to put in

Cold wet nasty day here.
Got some belated spring cleaning done whilst I watched the prologue to the Giro on telly. At least I should recognise Bradley Wiggins tomorrow now - he'll be in pink .

Buy a new one. It'll cost more to fix than its worth.

Interesting choice of font in this ad. You'll have to scroll down, and possibly even sideways...

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
