I hate people who say drawring...
...IT ONLY HAS ONE R AND IT'S AFTER THE D!!!
I always fancied a three wheeler, and almost got a Morgan JAP> I little ponce in the bank didn't think it was worth loaning me £150 to buy.
30 years on you would need another 0 or 2 on that!

That's a very old urban myth, although I bet it has happened a few times. I remember a very long delay on the way home from school years ago. There had been an accident between a bus and a lorry. When they separated the two, they found a bubble car flattened between them.
I remember Fifth Gear testing the rear impact protection on MPVs (because, like many of us, they were worried about how close the third row of seats were to the back of the car). Problem was, they didn't do a proper test. They should have had a HGV in front of the stationary MPV, to stop the energy of the crash from being dissipated by the car being pushed along by the impact. I suspect their findings would have been a lot worse in that event!

I've seen a couple of these around, very nice, a sort of sports car with a difference. If I'd get a three wheel vehicle, this is what I'd go for: http://www.campagnamotors.com/
The only problem is the price!
Three wheelers have come a long way from the Reliant Supercar

I used to ride a bike and sidecar. Great fun. I was thinking of getting a Russian "Ural" with sidecar wheel drive and a reverse gear for use in the snow. I got a bit fed up having to walk everywhere this winter!

My Dad had a 500cc Panther with a Garard sidecar, Single cylinder, ridged back end but we loved it. Mum and me in the sidecar and my sister on the back of the bike. 1956 to 1959. Wish I had it now.

My father described Panthers as "one stroke every lamp post". Not sure what the bikes were but we did have a double adult sidecar and a bullet shaped one Dad built himself. One holiday to Devon saw three kids in the sidecar, Dad riding, Mum on the back and baby inside her bike jacket.
