Liz had over 1000 books (mainly "gifts" on dvd/cd ) but is slowly deleting those she will never read. At present she is firmly hooked to an iPod playing "scrabble" and "hangman" with her friends, so she is not reading as much on the Kindle and is avoiding the iRon as much as possible

I ran out of bookshelves and was sick of dusting books I'd never read again so an e-reader is just perfect.
And yes Bernard, the USB stick is password protected.

I have hundreds of books, but the time I want to read is on the bus, the train, in the air and on holiday. In the good old days I would throw a dozen books in my bag, but these days I can't afford the weight.
And it's much easier to carry a Kindle than a single paperback. And I never lose my place. And can make the font bigger and smaller. And read and turn the page with one hand.
A bit like when if I wanted music on holiday I had to carry around lots of cassettes or settle for the radio. Now I can get (most) of my music collection on an MP3 player.

No, modern cars are becoming far to technical for my small brain, to cope with.
Take care.

Our Prius did that. Bloody useless it was too. It was quicker and easier to do it yourself. Everyone should be able to parallel park after all. At least that Ford that parks itself doesn't...

Chicken soup probably today Shaun, if I can be bothered to make a stock from Sundays chicken that is. The problem with soup for me is I have cut bread out of my diet and soup just begs for some good tasty bread with it.
