You have to be into drugs for a party here. You would not believe the pill popping and injecting that goes on.Maybe we should bring the party to you Barrie .

Sadly no date yet but maybe it's just as well as Margaret's knee replacement is tomorrow. So I'm thinking one thing at a time.

Send her my best Barry. Hope you're both fit enough to make it to Whitby at least once this year.

I'm beginning to wonder if the goths have put a hex on us after Whitby?
Barry and Alan with heart problems, Graham going blind.
What's in store for Neil and me?

I had heart problems long before my first Goth meet so it can't be a hex
Having said that my arthritis has been giving me hell on and off since last November, so bad that I've had the walking stick out on occasions and been hobbling round like a cripple, I've been out with the camera once this year
Today my right foot is like a balloon and I had to get my size 12s out of the wardrobe cos' my 11s wouldn't fit
Damn Goths

I just took a passport photo for my son - to go on his ID for the Olympics.
No he's not competing - he is a sound-man for Dutch TV and gets to go for work. Better than the darts at Frimley Green which he had to do for several years.
He has opted out of going to the European Championships as well - family life would suffer too much.

Thanks for asking Gwyn. The op went well and she is back on the ward. I spoke to her about an hour ago when she said the pain was just starting to come through but that she had morphine on hand. How did Margaret's Op go Barrie? Have you been able to talk to her yet?
Due to her medical history she had to have and epidural so she could hear all the drilling and sawing going on, even over her MP3 playing. She was not keen on that!!
Tomorrow is the big test when she has to start exercising with it.
