Good evening Cedric

At least you still have beer HG

Speaking of work I have an annoying idiot supervisor (not even connected to my section) in work who keeps trying to change things I do despite having to admit that he knows nothing about what I do

Having watched Mrs Brown's Boys the phrase "That's nice" is proving useful
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

One for all chocolate and Marmite lovers... Yes chocolate and Marmite combined in one bar. Gorgeous combination, no! not one of Mrs Cropleys menu`s but from Kimm and Miller.

Other chocolates and yeast extract spreads are available. (just to keep in with the PC police).
Enjoy life

I had Marmite chocolates at the Oban Chocolate Shop back in 2007. They were OK, but I preferred the chilli ones.

Had a delicious meal cooked by my daughter-in-law.

Only downside was I had to drive the 90 minutes home, so was on water all evening. The weather was atrocious - high winds and heavy showers, so driving was not a pleasure.

Just confirmed what most of us already know about Local Authorities. If we all did as they do you wouldn`t believe in a reccession.

Still hope all goes well and your council doesn`t use up all of your money
It's our money they grabbed our section for!!!

We now have to issue parking tickets to pay our way, a job that has become part of my new duties.

When I'll get chance to do that amongst the other things I don't know.

And part of ALL council policies is 'If it works, stuff it up well and good'
Cheers, HG

Have just looked out at the back garden and it seems like the Camelia survived the severe frost At first glance I can see about 4 buds open. Closer inspection later.

Isn't she married to Prince Charles? What on earth is she doing in your back garden?

I think if they survived last winter they can survive a bit of frost

What a big waste of garden soil plant though. the flowers bloom one day and drop off the next (figuratively speaking) they don't last anywhere near as long as we'd like and just serve to carpet the floor with pink petals, go on holiday at the wrong time of year and you miss it all

Not according to Colin Farrell!

(Mind you, it's a very good film).

It's called "In Bruges". It's one of my favourite films although my other half hates it.
