Sorry to hear about your bad Sunday news Barry. I hope you can keep on the forum we might make you smile
WE now need 2 wheelchairs one for you and one for Alan....pehaps all our meets should be at RSPB reserves that have mobility scooters with trailers so that you can carry our gear

I hope you recover quickly and look forward to seeing you out and about soon.

Dave
That’s a good idea, I can bring my own, scooter that is.

Take care.

Thanks for the good wishes. Apparently they can do Angiograms here but in Middlesbrough they can fit stents at the same time, which in my case they think is the probable treatment.

Alan I've had the sloshed iodine treatment before, but nowadays they go in via your wrist it seems.

Depending on the Hospital, the worst/best part of being a patient is "Nil by Mouth"

I bet none of you proposed to your wife like this .

So much work to make it - 2.5 days and 2,600 photos. I hope she said yes.

but they won't let me go until they can transfer me to a different hospital for an angiogram, and that may take another week.
They need to get you over to James Cook at Middlesbrough. Mild is better than worse and it will probably mean that you won't be allowed the full English breaky at the next Goth meet!

Best regards

Is it too early to ask who gets first dibs on Barrie's gear? I mean I don't want to be insensitive but I'm sure it's what he would have wanted!

Oh hang on, I forgot he was still alive!

I live in Middlesbrough and don't really rate James Cook. Though I'm not used to free healthcare either so it may indeed be one of the better ones. Btw what is a stent?
