Well already this year is going downhill fast. I ended up in hospital with a suspected heart attack on Sunday, very mild I have to say. I feel fine now but they won't let me go until they can transfer me to a different hospital for an angiogram, and that may take another week.

WE now need 2 wheelchairs one for you and one for Alan....pehaps all our meets should be at RSPB reserves that have mobility scooters with trailers so that you can carry our gear
I hope you recover quickly and look forward to seeing you out and about soon.

"New High speed rail link!"......it will be at least 14 years before a passenger boards a train!.....we will have cracked time travel by then!
Ps it must refer to the train speed, not the time to build it!

Sorry to hear about Piper Gareth. He sounds like a typical lab. The cat will no doubt miss him for a while, but not as long as you all will.
Barrie . Hope you are feeling better, and the angio is clear. A whole week to wait for one, and a transfer to another hospital for it though .
Seems to be turning into crocks corner here .

Take it easy Barrie, even mild ones need to be taken seriously, the Angiogram should be fun though, watching them shove wires up your arteries on the monitor, beware of the Iodine sloshed around your groin though, I'm sure they keep it refrigerated

What is it about the Goth Weekend that gives everyone heart attacks? Actually, that might begin another argument!
Hope it goes well Baz. I'm sure Margaret and the rest are looking after you.

Speak for yourselves, I'm in good physical condition...
..it must be all the alcohol at Christmas that's preserved me!
Good luck Barrie, hospital food is better than it used to be, so my father tells me.

The good news Barrie is that they are obviously not worried too much if they're prepared to wait days.
I was taken in one Sunday 3AM last year with the same symptoms and spent 2 days plugged into all kinds of monitors. One of which was getting through thermal paper as if it had gone out of fashion drawing alpine skylines.
Eventually it was decided I had a gaul stone, but unless it reared its ugly head again I'd probably be OK.
So best wishes and I trust the new hospital is not one of Blythmans subjects

Ah but the Alpine Skylines are what you want to see on a cardiac ward, it's when your getting Salt Flats that you start to worry
