Wow, we'll I hope they do a good job. I know it's a camera forum, but please no pictures. I was a combat lifesaver in the Army and used to give IV's to people. Now I can't stand the site of blood. Let's hope for cybergenics by the time I need some help.

Seriously though I hope you get well soon Barrie.

I've just noticed a 'puddle' of ink under my printer.

I lifted the edge to get a better look and I got ink all over my hands.

Went and washed it off, now I've got it again, it's all over the mouse - how on earth did it jump 5 feet (the ink that is)

Everyone knows the answer to that, its INK! of course it will get everywhere, have you checked the ceiling:

Sounds like the waste tank on your printer has either overflowed or some things come adrift, what make/model is it?

By answering that point does this thread indeed have point and therefore not pointless?

I don't honestly know, at this moment in time I'm more concerned about the number of Mature Dating ads that are popping up on the forum, I'm having to surf while the wife's not watching

Yep, waste tanks is (was) full to the brim. I didn't know it had a waste bin until just now, there's nothing in the manual about it or about draining it.

Having tipped the printer I've now got it dribbling down the filing cabinet it sits on, so theres now half a roll of toilet paper being used to soak it up before it reaches the carpet .

Printer's a HP K60 which looks as if it's reached the end of its useful life. It's several years old and has produced over 57000 prints.

It's still pointless as there is no solution to the mess, but it's an excuse to get another printer - my wife's been on to me for ages to change it. When she gets home and sees the mess, I think it's a dead cert, unless it gets to the carpet in which case I'm cert dead.

Well already this year is going downhill fast. I ended up in hospital with a suspected heart attack on Sunday, very mild I have to say. I feel fine now but they won't let me go until they can transfer me to a different hospital for an angiogram, and that may take another week.
So its Aspirin, Lisinopril and Simvastatin for you too then?

I was a bit concerned about the angiogram until two surgeon friends convinced me it was nothing to worry about and I decilned the offer of sedation. Big mistake! I started to feel like someone had parked a bus on my arm.

The doctors apologised afterwards about the length of time it took but it was because of my unusual anatomy

I have an extra cardiac artery. I got them to show me all the kit and play back the tape afterwards, I got the impression no one had ever asked before.
