I noticed that too Tony, I think it's set in 1962 so the Pentax should be a S2/3/1a.

Just back from a shopping trip which saw 2 pairs of walking trainers and a pair of boots bought in the sale. Not I hasten to add, from Blacks/Millets.
Cheers, HG

I gave up trying to wash the current mutt years ago. Once tried to get him in the shower - it was like something from a cartoon with all four of his legs braced against the shower so he couldn't be put in there. Since he weighs 35kgs I'm not going to win that battle.

Tried to bath Peanut once. Never again - Peanut was a cat. Guess the result, never mind Woof and go. I think she went meeow and go or was that just me going owwww to the first aid kit. Hey ho happy memories, she were 20 when I took her to the vet and failed to bring her back. Just taking the neck out an "Old Bob." One of the Christmas beers that Mrs Santa left.
Enjoy life

Ah yes cats and water...

...Our (late) tabby jumped into a full bath and, I swear this is the truth, out again without getting wet!!!

He just seemed to bounce of the water's surface!

Evening spent getting ready for a revamp of my web site, I'm getting bored with the current template..

Because mind was a countryside stray before she decided to move in she is never worried by water and frequently goes out in the rain.

Of course she does have the sense to stand on my lap until her paws are warm and dry again!

My sister's cat used to do that, she would sit in the back yard in the rain with a sulky look on her face, as soon as the rain stopped she wanted to be indoors.

Just back from a day at the sea side. Bracing stuff but good fun, the sun was shining too.
We went to Sea Life in Scheveningen, with the grandkids then for some fish and chips (not up to UK standards but still good) and a walk on the beach. Flew a kite and had a good day.
Now we're off to have pancakes at the local pancake house. Yummy.

Sounds great Gwyn - been overcast and drizzly here all day but hardly wintry - we seem to be getting through quite well - he said tempting fate !!
We have just agreed on a great cottage near Wadebridge,N.Cornwall for a week with the two munchkins and their mommies in June - 2 mins from the beach and the sun sets right in front of the house.Metal detector and fishing rods will be going and I now have something to focus on for the year !
First tests for the new medication on Tuesday - we shall see if anything is occurin` - also my infusion to keep the bones strong.Maybe a month is too soon but I can hope eh ?
New PC hopefully arrives this week too as does Joclick`s birthday - 10-01-45 - doesn`t look it or feel it !!

Regards

Tony

It's been a mix of rain and sun here

How bizarre that you have sorted a week away today Tony - myself and my better half have spent pretty much all day looking for holidays and after all of this we ended up booking the same apartment in Burry Port as we had last year

I hope the medication works well

Gwyn, the mere mention of fish and chips makes me hungry

Sounds like a great place for a weeks hols Tony, and a week with all your girls, young and slightlly not so young must be good.

I'll keep my fingers crossed you get the results you want on Tuesday - it'll make a nice birthday present for Joclick too.

Stuffed full of pancake now. I had a veggie one, His Nibs, son and daughter-in-law had more traditional ones with bacon and cheese and stuff, and the grandkids showed their English heritage by having theirs with icing sugar and lemon juice.
