Yeh - Good Luck Tony, at that price it should work. Is it for life?, if so that should set them back a bit by your 100th.

Thanks guys - my Oncologist says he/we will know within 3 months - side effects seem to be limited to possible swollen ankles, odd blood pressure, dodgy heart rate, hot sweats - sounds like what I`ve got already - lol.
As long as my sense of humour isn`t affected I`ll be ok - back on my red wine ( medicinal ) again as the taste buds have returned at last.

Regards

Tony

Music night tonight so we ate early. We had a beef stew with Marmite dumplings. Not very heart friendly, but delicious.
Enough meat left over to make a pie too.

Glad to see the sense of humour is still there Tony

Those side effects seem much better than the options - my standing total so far (hopefully this is the final total) is 4 operations and nine weeks of chemotherapy and for about the last 7 years no problems that I know of

At leat now your taste buds are back you can enjoy the wine more - woo hoo

Well done Stuey - until I had this bl**dy Colostomy I could say I wasn`t ill , but now I`ve got a new botty on the front of my stomach it`s hard to ignore ! Apart from fatigue and dodgy bones I really cannot say the cancer has been that debilitating but my Urologist said he wanted to downgrade it to a Chronic ilness not a death sentence so I`m just getting on with life and viewing it from a slightly different perspective.

For all the problems it can cause the fact that you are still functioning makes it all worth while

I spent nearly two years knowing exactly where whatever I ate was until it was expelled - that was weird to say the least, after chemo I never really felt the cold but that is also coming back now (more so each winter) but the most entertaining issue is my wandering beard bald spot its on the right hand side of my chin at present but it's moving towards the middle I am easily entertained as you can see

Its good news in terms of the downgrade and with a bit of luck the new tablets will help improve matters for you

Regards

I can't believe that it's Friday lunchtime and no one is drinking yet.

Are you saving yourselves for Christmas?

I finish work today for two weeks. Not my choice, as I will now have 'tasks' to do around the house.

We just had a snow storm but it`s stopped now - very gloomy - should have stayed in bed methinks !!
Still waiting for the Telegraph - I think the new paper boy has misunderstood the job description ! Great final to Professional Masterchef last night - any one of them could have claimed the title.

I`m off to polish my skis !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT

I liked it too but a lot of the enjoyment was how they exploited 3D. The storyline's a bit schmalz-bag though Glad it works in 2D too!

Just back from Christmas shopping for my wifes present. New Charm for her Pandora braclet and an Optio RZ18. Nor sure what she will like best but her old Browni was getting a bit past it. Will she let me play with it on Christmas Day?

Les

PS also got 2 year warranty from Pro center in Reading

Hope so Les! And with a bit of luck she'll let you use her new camera as well.
