Problem with keyboard solved. I was over-stimulated at the thought of the forthcoming Keep Fit class Christmas Party. A resounding success, will not be getting on the scales again until January

Our scales have had a flat battery in for years, too depressing to be reminded, so we just eat less when we feel tooooo large and/or go for a walk.

Bad, but not nearly as bad as Leona Lewis singing 'Hurt', Johnny Cash must be spinning in his grave.

It was real food Bernard, a full Christmas dinner

I always try to balance my diet for example I have a cake in each hand and never take an odd amount of biscuits from the tin

Scales are useful for standing on when something is just out of reach but would be too much effort to use steps or a chair to stand on

In Tesco's again today.... 3 packs of 4 500ml Bottles Old Speckled Hen normally £6.49 a pack....... £9 for all 3...... same price as the cans offer..... 75p per Bottle I wonder if they've programmed it in wrong? The offer was on the shelf as well, but that's printed off the computer!

I hope you stocked up at that price!

Used to enjoy a glass of Hen at the local Morland pub.
Not sure that Old Crafty Hen and Old golden hen follow on really, given the origins of the name.

I just bought the 12 bottles. I didn't expect them to go through the till, but they did. Came up as £19.47 less multibuy savings of £10.47 leaving £9 to pay. Sainsbury's price match!

I prefer cans of Tanglefoot, so I didn't really want too many OSH.

Old Crafty Hen is darker and 6.5%, the odd bottles OK

All illegal in Scotland now! No longer allowed to do multi-deals on alcohol. So they just match the lowest price in England. I think the policy make have backfired somewhat!

Why do they blame alcohol for all the trouble?

If they let the hot heads drink nothing but water they'd still cause chaos!!

Why not put them all in a pit with big sticks and then leave the rest of us to enjoy our odd pint or seven in piece?
Cheers, HG
