That's almost as bad as telling the door to door religious fanatics that you've got to rush as you'll be late to confessions/synagogue/mosque!!

Cruel but they aint been back for years!

Wood, duel fuel? Only if you get coal as well. We do.

and our gas bill is around£5 a month, in fact our suppliers (duel fuel would you believe?) owe us around£200, must give them a call...

That's superb!

I normally use the slightly more mundane approach of playing along until they find out that the nearest gas main to our house is about a mile away!

I am truly impressed with Amazon.

I bought my grandson a Vtech camera for his birthday in September. It is not working as it should any more , so I sent off an e-mail to Amazon.

I got an instant reply, a new one is in the post (or will be tonight), sent priority post, even though I took advantage of their free slower postage when I ordered the camera. Also a link to print out a free return postage label. The parcel goes to Venlo, so I don't have a problem with international post either.

Just brilliant.

So far I've always been impressed with Amazon and always use their free p/p whenever possible. The few "Third Party" sellers have been good too and deliver on time. 7dayshop can be hit or miss with delivery but usually never in that much of a hurry for items to be delivered.

I have no affiliations with the above companies except as a satisfied customer

Right on brother! But as someone in my early thirties working in the private sector, my retirement will probably resemble the latter half of the film 'Threads'. At least I will have the knowledge that those that went before me had it better!

Which planet was the alien to your right from, he looks like he could be one of those bio-mechanoids from the delta quadrant, an early Borg prototype perhaps
