Another pointless thread

I can't believe there is only one car in the South Side at night. After all, we all know in the South Side that the even the police travel in gangs!

Mind you, the night after my friend moved into his new house in Bearsden (which is kinda posh) there was a huge exposion as some local neds crashed a car then set fire to it.

I miss all this in civilised Edinburgh. I can proudly say that there was only one murder within a hundred yards of our house in the last year! And only one the year before!

It'll all be sorted out when the trams are running

Has anyone dashed out and bought a vacuum cleaner because of the advert on this site. Maybe it comes with built in camera to prove the floors have been done.
Have been getting the "You have won an iPhone" scam popping up too

Nope.

I've got all ads blocked.

But still have the chance to win an EOS7D with 'Wex photographic'

Apparently that's the new name for Warehouse Express!

They obviously don't know this is a Pentax site, although I thought the web address would give it away!

Why does Win7 tell me I need 'administrator' priviliges when I installed it and nobody else is a user?!!

And Molly's back!

You have the User Account Controls set to do this. You can turn it off or reduce the amount of warnings you get. Control Panel > User Accounts > Change User Account Control settings. It's just extra security.

Because MS released a business OS (NT) for home use
with all it's associated security problems instead of
continuing the development of W98SE

I refuse to allow this thread to turn into a Microsoft bashing fest Stan. Too many other threads have and it always turns nasty.

I have to admit to more than a touch of schadenfreude when I read His Nibs' email this morning saying he got soaked last night walking back to his hotel, even if it was warm rain.

I have a heap of twigs etc on my garden waiting to be burnt (Missed bonfire night - too wet all this month).

Will probably be compost before I dare fill the area with smoke,

Whilst on the subject of MS does anyone know why the "search" command (the old one with the little dog) runs and .... runs and find the same things over and over and never seams to get to the end.

It worked fine up to I think six months or so ago

They must have fixed it!

Locate32 is about the best search tool I've ever used. It's
free, but not updated for about 4 years. The author spends
9 months of the year in the sun in NZ..... don't blame him!
