What's the best investment today --- Toilet rolls
Each sheet is roughly the same size as a paper note and will soon be the same value
The cost increases each year whereas currency decreases, so an investment of say £1000 in tolet rolls would earn a considerable interest over the life of them (assuming you put the current cost back into a bank acount)
Just a thought

# 7, 10 and 11 for me. They capture India as I think of it. Not that I've been.
Best of all though is # 3.
I hope you intend to hang that one up somewhere - if only for the bragging rights .

There is a concert going on in the grounds of a palace about 1 km away from me. The noise is awful. It isn't even good music or at least not to my taste being mediocre Dutch "stars" singing mediocre Dutch songs..
Still it could be worse. A friend of mine lives just across the road from the palace so she must be getting the full force of it in her house.

We've discovered one of the problems of wood stores.
Over the last week or so I've evicted 4 BIG wasps from our house. It looks like the young queens from a nearby nest have decided to over winter in our fuel so we're going to have to be carefull when getting wood.
Oh, and I evicted and didn't kill them, after all wasps keep the little flying biters down.

I always thought the missing link between music and noise was the bagpipes
That'll be Northumbrian pipes you'll be referring to then?

Thanks all for the photo comments. I would like to go back when the light is better.
I heard the people who were a few days behind could hardly see the Taj Mahal at all! Inidia does (I now know) get very foggy at times.

Any type of bagpipes I've just remembered another "instrument" of torture which probably ties, or slightly surpasses, the pipes, the Recorder

Can obviously mount the camera in backwards and have the levers on the lens side, but this is also a bit awkward.
Would echo Gwyn's comments on the 190/055 and add that for general landscapes either is good (my brother uses the 190, I have the 055, curiosly both the same price at the time)
