Just tried it out, and seriously, this is some good stuff. Love the pages and all. I'll be donating for the cause, can't believe this program is just a 16mb download!

Hmm.... A perfectly sensible thread full of rants is yet again sullied with photography talk.

Sorry, just pointing out a good option to expensive over the top commercial rip-offs!
Lounge temperature this morning is 16 degrees(C) so the fire's getting lit.
I need a warm house to help combat my cold.

Has anyone noticed that women's definition of 'Man Flu' is anything from a cold through to the bubonic plague? But we constantly have to put up with them complaining about 'women's problems which we don't understand'.
And they make far too much fuss about childbirth too. I've seen a cat have eight kittens without complaint, yet they have one tiny baby...!

Well - that's done it this morning
Came downstairs at 7 to find my hall nice and warm -put my hand on the radiator - the only one in the house without a thermostat as it's the first one on and seems to be connected to the main control panel in some way . [All my other radiators do have controls on them] That radiator was on and it did feel nice
Been round the house now , putting some radiators on. My new system seemed complicated and I couldn't work out how to put the heating off and still have hot water this summer so I just turned the radiators down to frost setting.
It still feels early to have it on - but weather has been so horrid up here - I'll just leave it working now and keep warm

Sorry Gareth, not in the mood for a fight.
We've already had several frosts this month.
We put our heating on a couple of weeks ago - mainly for the really cold mornings - His Nibs is up and showering by 6.30 and it is cold then!
The evenings have been nip for a long time but we could light the fire to warm up then. We even had fires in July and August it was so darn cold.

Hi all back after a short absence.
Test drove 2 cars (Citroen and Ford) both newer than mine, both noisier than mine, so bought a wireless Epsom printer. This was cheaper to buy but the running costs equate to the same (car fuel vs printer ink)
Swapped 2 computers and rebuilt 1 so far another one will be started tomorrow.
I may get time to take post photo's soon.

Just upgraded a laptop that I had given, the parts needed were, power supply, new hard drive, more memory and a copy of Windows 7(that I just happen to have a 'broken' copy of!)
A little screw driver work and one install later the boss is using it for her Masters...
It will work even better when the new battery arrives and she's not tied to a plug.

Hi.
Has anyone ever been photographically spooked, or an experience that is unexplainable.
Many years ago my wife’s auntie and uncle had their silver wedding party, I was asked to photograph the event.
I used my Pentax Spotmatic II, with B&W film, and a Yashica Mat, with colour neg film. I had an independent flash unit for each camera.
A number of films were used in each camera. The B&W films from the Spotmatic, I processed myself, the colour film from the Yashica, sent for commercial processing and printing.
The spooky, unexplainable thing, every single film was blank ??.
Take care.

It's easy to get to grips with.
Off to bed now, feeling a little under the weather with a cold, although when my other half gets it she'll call it 'flu'!
