It's new so take it back and complain. Mine was like that when I had first it, so were several others in the shop,(the bearings dry out in storage-apparently). The technician spent 15 mins and changed the fan (and put the old one back in the box the new one came out of)- I now have to listen to see if its running.

regards

Do you know you can't actually see light.
You only see the light that falls on your eyes but if it would move right in front of your eyes you can't see it.

I've just sold my K7, with both kit lenses, to a work colleague, who I believe will be joining the forum shortly! His dad has loads of old Pentax lenses, so he should be starting with a pretty good set-up!

Jackie was not looking forward to the hassle of ebay when she gets to the UK in a few weeks, so it's worked out very well all round! I think it was a good deal both ways. Now I will have to get a Sigma 17-50 to replace the 18-55.

I guess now we can start Pentax meets here in Doha! Any takers?

I've just been looking at photos and videos of a pay and play off road site. Hopefully it isn't all quite as extreme as they suggest, otherwise the Forester will be staying at camp and I'll be sidling up to anyone with a spare passenger seat!

Providing you stick to public rights of way you've nothing to worry about legally. They might still be stroppy, but you're allowed to be there and can report threatening behaviour or attempts to block the route.

One chap I know had the following technique for chained gates on rights of way: He would cut the chain off (as you're allowed to remove blockages) then hand it over to the local Police station (so that he couldn't be accused of theft - legally they were obliged to take it!)

Two Questions:
1/ where is the footpath?
2/ what is the green thing to the right of the camera?

You can answer in any order but preferably not like The Two Ronnies on Master Mind

Nice shot Gareth, most farmers around here seem OK as long as you're not damaging crops.

Ah!

That sounds like the Pizza arriving...
