If it's anything like our dreader Whirlpool fridge-freezer then you'll find it's full of temperature controls and alarms. And none of them do a thing! Had it repaired four times in two years. Never buying from Whirlpool again!

Since it's going in the same place as soon as it arrives - I reckon I'm OK for time for the frozen stuff - I can afford to let it settle and then freeze . I've extracted anything I need for the day . I'm assured I should have at least 11 hours of safety before I need worry .

OK I'm going to have to empty it again when I get the doors reversed - but I'll have the box again and that should be by appointment rather than an any time between 8 and 6 .

This is Beko again - 1) it was the right size for the place , 2) Price was OK , 3) the old one gave not a scrap of bother till now - and it wasn't one of the Thermostat problematical ones

T-T are you going to the refurbished National Museum of Scotland?

Just found out its in Edinburgh, but it was on TV tonight and looked a good place to visit.

Well - yesterday was successful - kitchenwise

Had a bit of a panic at 4 since I still didn't have a Fridge Freezer - so contacted the firm who supplied my meat in the big polystyrene box and they assured me that if it's packed properly and I change the packs when necessary [ who has more than 6 gel Ice packs ? ] it could last for up to 36 hours - seems they send out some boxes of stuff knowing it will be 36 hours before they are unpacked !!

Fridge arrived at 5 and at 9 I switched it on - nice and quiet it is too

By 11.30 temps had dropped very nicely and by midnight they were stable .

Went to bed at 1.30 having shoved everything back in it .

This morning - I've registered it , and arranged for the engineer to visit to reverse the doors [ that will be Tuesday morning ] and I'll have to empty it again for that to be done. That big box has really proved its worth

Looks fabulous doesn't it

Yes I'll go through at some point - BUT I think I'll wait till it's less crowded , after all the tourists are now present in large numbers - there's a wee wedding this weekend and the Festival is the next thing .

It's very easy to find too - behind St Andrew Square and very near to the Coach Station

Well done indeed, I thoroughly enjoyed today's race. Top marks to McLaren too for allowing Lewis and Jenson go wheel to wheel in those conditions. Good to see Di Resta getting some decent points too

I hadn't heard of them - but I do like George Kooyman's voice, and Carillo is also pretty good . Didn't he play on one of Anouk's albums too? (that Golden Earring connection again!)

Don't get the reference to Van Halen and the Stones though.

Just to name drop my son had a few drum lessons from Cesar Zuiderwijk, when his own teacher was ill - Cesar stepped in and took over.

Good luck with the photoshoot.

Indeed i love his voice and the music is quite my style, finally some real music!
Yep he played for Anouk too and also worked with... Joan Jett, Johnny Hallyday, bluesman Johnny Hammond and Carly Simon.
In 1978 and 1979 he toured with van Halen and he and the Rolling Stones are friends, i know he did cover some of their songs but more then that i don't know.

That's wonderful, your son must have felt so lucky or not?

Thanks, hopefully they let me in with the camera...
Are you also coming?
Stefan

They will indeed play there but few nights before that they will play here in Dordrecht and i'm certainly going to that because i known the lighting and the spots there, you can get on the stage there very easily.
I might consider also going to Den Haag if you want to meet up, not sure if i would bring the camera though?
