Another pointless thread

Is a point a fulcrum, or is a fulcrum a point? Maybe it all is "pointless"! My one brain cell is becoming very confused.
Rainy, cold, soggy day. Think I'll get my bottle and a glass and go cuddle up by the fire. D..., have to go to the wood shed first.

I gladly welcome C & C's. Being foggy minded they really help me learn.

It's no good, I'm going to have to get a mouse for my netbook. I can't get on with that little touchpad. Not good for my arthritis and soooo annoying when I can't find the scroll area. Only thing I don't like about the netbook (so far!).
So tomorrow I shall be looking at mini mice.
Off to make a cuppa now.

Looks as if you have a point there...
Mid evening here - still quite clear and mild, even though the sun has gone down. Or is it over the yardarm: Drink..

my little monster has a logitech mini mouse and she really likes it. Short cable, too.
Logitech v100 mouse for notebooks it is, though I'd recommend a trackball over a mouse, especially if you have RSI.
The roadkill post, BTW, was fantastic. Thanks.

Careful there Gwyn you could have a point. I found my netbook really handy for travel. Not so much travelling now so the netbook is gathering dust

Hi tony, I haven`t dissapeared. Just had a weekend in York, had a few dodgy moments with camera settings but I assure you it was operator error. Looked up Fairburn Ings, not a place on me repeat visit list. Think we are spoilt in the South, now thinking about a wee dram or three. If anyone has the inclination I would welcome a few words to Odin for the weekend. Be nice to have some decent dry weather for the annual sponsored bike ride from Bury St Edmunds to Ipswich. Not been on a bike since the last one a year ago, still it`s only 36 miles and Suffolk is flat! One good thing about Fairburn was the ancient industrial landscape, will try and sort some pics.

David, what do you think of these www.berlebach.de ?
I'm sure some members can appreciate the vintage of it, would go well with a Billingham bag
I think my next tripod is going to be a Gitzo.
Have you seen this link I know you only think your next tripod will be one of these...

A quick reply before heading for bed.Careful there Gwyn you could have a point. I found my netbook really handy for travel. Not so much travelling now so the netbook is gathering dust
My main PC lives in the attic. My husband's PC is in his Black Hole/music room/office on the ground floor. If we want to talk when both using our PCs we Skype each other.
With the netbook I can sit in the next room to him and surf and watch tv. I can also take it with me when I babysit the grandsons. So it will get lots of use, even when we aren't travelling.Just need a mouse now.
I shall investigate what there is and try some out.
Now to bed ready for tonight's episode of Book at Bedtime.
