Another pointless thread

I - on the other hand - foolishly went out with the jet spray yesterday to clean the stone work at the bottom of the garden - see earlier pointless pic - and managed to pull something in my lower back !!!!!!
Now I`ve got to wait to brush in the new jointing compound and hope it doesn`t rain in the meantime.
Off to see my Urologist for the 3 monthly PSA readings now - also pick up some potting compost ( Jo will pick it up and I will pick up the tab/bill ! )sun`s out but still a tad chilly here on Wirral - knees are covered again you will be glad to hear !

Apologies for breaking into photography-speak for one post:
SJ - same tripod and head as mine, and you won't be sorry. I avoid extending the centre column though, especially if it is gusty. You might be able to avoid the shakes with a sandbag weight hanging off it, although I've not tried that.
The centre column is useful in another way though, as at the top end of its travel, you can swivel it 'through' the head so that the centre column is parallel to the ground.
Rather than a sandbag - try another beer Apologies for breaking into photography-speak for one post:

Tony - did you mention sun ?
We had it yesterday - to the extent that instead of putting my laundry out to dry I put it in the sunlounge in temps of about 80 F - dried in about an hour Got 3 loads washed and dried
Today - summer is over

I guess they thought your joke was a bit tasteless Polchraine, as opposed to pointless. It did make me laugh though.
We have had sun for the last few days but nowhere near that temperature Techno. Now it's gone all cloudy on me.
And I have pulled a muscle in my back - chasing grandsons around on all fours I twisted something and ended up on the floor in agony. They though it was hilarious though .

Tasteless ??????
Now come on Gwyn - I think it had been very tasty or he wouldn't have consumed it .
I was literally helpless with laughter reading it . I had this wonderful piccie in my mind of this guy with a very agonised look on his face belting as fast as he dare to the other end of the B& Q .
My sunlounge faces South [ I think - I'm directionally challenged ] and having glass walls on 3 sides and a clever plastic roof temps rise rapidly in it - 80 is nothing I can tell you . I had the door between my downstairs living room and the sunlounge open all day - it got the sitting room up to 70 +

It was an exceptionally well written joke. A shame it was cut.

I did dear lady - sadly it now seems to have departed for the time being and the clouds have returned.
Back is starting to ease a bit and unfortunately PSA is rising again - back to the Bicalutamide tablets in tandem with the injections for 3 months - hey ho - at least it is not affecting my camerawork ( it was always dodgy ).
I`ll try golf tomorrow with the lovely Jo and see how things are going.
No word from the K100 seller as yet - ?? - hope it`s not dodgy !!

Joke ... It was true and I'm only just recovering. If you want a copy to circulate, let me know by PM.

Name your budget, I'll locate the single malt and you can then buy two bottles! One for you and one for me,
