We definitely had spring today. Clear blue skies and 18C outside, was even able to stand outside with a camera without losing all feeling in my fingers!

Spring. From too much brown to too much green!

Must stop myself falling over that edge all the time!

I've been on this planet for over fifty years and I had my first dose of morphine this week.

Hi Oggy,

Morphine isn't usually linked to anything else pleasant, so hopefully all is OK!

Have memories of the last time I had Morphine - to reduce a horrifically dislocated elbow. I didn't remember much - but I'm told that the Orthopaedic staff were astounded by my command of the English language

It did have it's good points though , at all follow up appointments the staff came running to talk to me . the attention was fantastic

I have just changed the oil in the Rover and then given it a shampoo.
I hope that's a car not a dog!

When I broke a bone in my foot they sent me home on 2 elbow crutches with a dislocated thumb, severe bruising to my chest and shoulders and a stiff hip.

I also had no pain killers!

That was a slow accident as well!!

That sounds way too deliberate to be classified as an accident!

Fortunately they knock me out when relocating my dislocated elbow. In the village doctors office which doubles up as the vet .

Only saw my local physio after that. And he is someone I have known since he was 4 and started school the same day as my youngest son.

My elbow is now reasonably straight, and makes a great weather forecaster.

Must change my winter tyres too. Thanks for reminding me.

We are looking at holidays now. Toss up between France (Provence/Pyrenees) or a trip on a Gulet along the Turkish coast and Greek islands. Not being a swimmer I'm not too sure about the second one. Afraid I will be bored out of my head while every one else is swimming. Must make up my mind this weekend though.

A pedestrian stepped between stationary traffic in front of my motorcycle and knocked me off. I was travelling at 15 MPH at the time.

The cheeky b*****d then tried suing ME for not looking where I was going!!!

THAT slow accident!

I thought you meant what the medical people did thereafter!

My husband tells me it was ketamine that I had when they did my elbow. Party drug of choice in certain circles it seems. I had a bit of a trip on it, but wouldn't want to take it voluntarily.

Sun is shining so I'm condemned to the garden this afternoon, laying a new path.
Not my favourite pastime.
