I don't know how you tolerate the weather over there.

Most of us have no choice, so we put up with it .

A shame you didn't see much game, but you'd only make us all jealous with fab photos of them all .

Generally you deal with the weather by planning around it. Chucking down with rain? Get the tripod and that widget you thought would make a good macro subject out, and make the kitchen table your studio for the afternoon.

I did smile at the comments in one photography magazine about visiting the Elan Valley and how quickly the weather can change. I can be up there in about 20mins if the weather looks promising!

I second that - but being a Chester local; I often try to find a more interesting perspective on the city:

Ironically; I've not stepped foot in the Pentax Pro Centre in Chester, Camera Solutions, mainly because the prices I've seen in the window have'nt set me alight to be quite honest. Not when you compare to SRS...

It's his 40th wedding anniversary, not his birthday.

Chester - That was my first school trip. I think the Romans were still there then...

My first visit to Chester was with a colleague who had an interest in archeology. He was pointing out where the sarcophagus of a roman child had been used as building material in the city wall.

Another glorious spring day here. It is clouding over now though.

I've got to spend the day in tomorrow, waiting for the postman. That means walking the dogs really early in the a.m, and hoping the Postie doesn't take all day about coming or the poor dogs will have to keep their legs crossed.

I know from experience that otherwise the postman waits around the corner until I go out and then tries to deliver the parcel.

Hmmm - know the feeling Gwyn.

Yesterday I was expecting a delivery - slot was from 7am to 7pm - WONDERFUL

Good job I no longer have a dog - his legs would have been crossed and double crossed .

Fortunately it poured again so I was happy to stay in . Delivery actually arrived at 4.30pm .

Today - some sun [ briefly ] plenty of clouds , some real rain and plenty of showers
let the education continue

I know what you mean, but it's nice being able to see kit up close though. I can be in Chester in 45 minutes, it's a bit further to SRS!

Edit: Lovely shot btw.
If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.

Apparently.
