Nice garden!
If I didn't have afore mentioned bitch I would have grass, even in my pocket handkerchief garden. But we had grass and she covered it in little brown patches, so I'm afraid it was easier to get rid of the grass than keep trying to repair it.
We have slabs and gravel now.

I have grass, but no dog, male or female.
At the moment this strange phenomenon called sunshine is trying to get rid of the last patches of snow in the garden. Well, more work to come

That`s cos I employ a team of professional squirrels - Cyril & Sons - to constantly aerate the ground whilst burying their nuts ! No expensive hollow tine aeration for me !!

Think I'll pass on Cyril and sons doing my garden .
Luckily we only have red squirrels here. Fun for the dogs to chase in the woods, and lovely to watch.
Never manage to photograph one though .

Just to keep the thread running I changed the wheels from winter to summer tyres on the Golf tonight. Now it runs sooo quiet on the tarmac.
