I have worked for Ingersoll-Rand, they used to ship high pressure air compressors from the USA to the UK, so we could sell them back to Canada.

There's another shop near them selling sheep's milk ice cream. Interestingly they don't put this in huge letters on the signs, presumably as they want people to taste it first rather than just saying "eww, sheep milk?"

It's actually very nice ice cream!

I like goats cheese.

Sorry for that random statement, but everywhere we went in France has it, Can I get some good stuff here in the UK?

Oh look a flying pig!

Goats cheese and caravan fridges do not mix (from the list of things I learned from family holidays to France). It has a habit of attacking anything within a half mile radius unless sealed in a container. The ones used for transporting used nuclear fuel rods are just about effective for this.

Depends on the goats cheese. On La Palma they make hard goats cheese which is delicious. They have a hard goats cheese in our local supermarket too, but it isn't as good.
We brought cheese back from La Palma and having enjoyed some whilst watching the telly made the mistake of leaving it on the coffee table. The dogs snaffled it in a second. Normally they don't touch food left out, but that cheese was just too much for them. Maybe it made Timber feel homesick - he is a La Palma goatherders dog .

HG - there are some excellent English goats cheeses - Woolsery is one, but there are lots of others.

On the other hand, a good leg of goat comes up just as nicely as a roast leg o' lamb (some say better).

I once barbecued a goats leg (it was no longer attached to the goat). It was delicious!

I love goat meat. Hard to get here, except at the Moroccan shops though.

I dunno - I don't think I've ever eaten Goat or kid .

Now pork yes lots of times even to sucking pig - but frankly that was not as nice as I expected .

Many thanks for that caveat Tim - I had various visions of how one might go about it otherwise...
