The Picasso was well full on return from France, so the fact that the odd bottle survived isn't a worry.
What is a worry is we've nearly run out and aren't going back until next year!
That and the boss has just realized she can get a 10 litre box of rose in the fridge....

Just back from a wet and breezy (to put it mildly) weekend in Friesland.
Very nice hotel/B&B/lodging. Not quite sure what to call it. But it was good. Excellent meal out on Saturday - driven to the restaurant by the hotelier, and home again by the chef, can't be bad.
I am now without a camera , but I made my daughter-in-law very happy on her birthday yesterday .
Th rain yesterday was horizontal. It is still very windy today - my son can't sail in this - so the guests get a day in Harlingen or Franeker. Better weather forecast tomorrow.
Saw a couple of flamingos this morning when we went for a last walk along the sea-dike .

So what are you replacing the K20 with Gwyn, or did I miss that in my speed read to catch up?
I'm going to wait and see what is announced at Photokina. If I can get there and get my hands on it so much the better. So what are you replacing the K20 with Gwyn, or did I miss that in my speed read to catch up?
I'll then decide whether to buy the K5 (or whatever it's called), or save money and get a K7.
Meanwhile, if I can peel it away from him I can use my husband's K-m. He promised me I could use it - then this weekend he wouldn't let me .
Ah well he's buying me my next camera so I shan't complain too much.
I shall (almost certainly) be sticking with Pentax though - too much money invested in glass to change brands.

Now now no arguments, have a beer all will be well
Has that steered the conversation in the right direction.
Just about to open a bottle of Blue Bird from my favourite brewery in Coniston, Cumbria.

This is not a joking matter we have to preserve the integrity of the thread.
