I may have solved my black ME Super problem...

I've bought another one! This one supposedly works ok but has flickering LEDs. A bit of reading around suggests that this can be cured by cleaning the contacts or replacing the batteries. £24 bundled with a Tokina AT-X 28-85mm zoom which from what I've read sounds like quite a tasty piece of kit in any case. That'll most likely end up on my Super A which is currently undergoing a film test after new seals.

Good one DM, let us know how it goes.

The flickering LEDs in my black ME were a result of dying batteries. Now resealed it's ready for a film test later this week.

I am making a conscious effort not to end up with another roll of black and white photos of the Elan Valley (as I seem to have rather a lot of those...)

Mind you, with views like this you might just understand why:

I'm not sure Gareth. One of the guys is a paramedic and he took charge. I asked him if he needed help but he already had a couple of people there. I then went down to the gate (we were in a field in the middle of no-where) to direct the ambulance. After it arrived I left.

Nice B&W DM, why not do a study and post a gallery like this one of mine.

You'll note that I use different cameras, film as well as digital, just to get a different feel. All the shots were taken over a 2 week period.

Hmm, I can see myself doing that around town here! Most of the buildings are from between the 1880s and 1920s and a lot still have ornamental ironwork/stonework intact. Will wait for the Tokina lens to turn up as I can combine the project with testing the lens (and the Super A) that way.

Really?

They don't happen that often here, but when they do they mess up the 'perfect' digital TV signal.

I hope you've got a raincoat to go with you - it's not looking too promising in Belgium I'm afraid.

Someone has stolen summer, and I'd quite like them to return it before it is too late to enjoy it.

Have a great time and go easy on the liquid bread .
