Depends whether or not he likes dragons.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Breaky in 10, then start the day. A1 has multiple section closures! Different approach needed.

Off to Norfolk for a few days in the morning...

...just hope the circus n London don't change the show and we have to come home early..

....don't you just love Bozzo and team?!!

To be fair they're trying their best in frustrating and awkward cicumstances.
Cheers, HG

Enjoy your trip. Get out while you can!

We will be back in lockdown on Tuesday I fear.

That's the worry here Gwyn, we've a nice little cottage booked for the week.

But if the rules change we may have to return early.

Hopefully we can cycle the Marriot Way before anything happens.
Cheers, HG

Well I hope you get to enjoy your cottage, and your bike ride.

It's my birthday on Wednesday and I was hoping my sons would be able to come up next weekend, but I think the government will put the kybosh on that.

Happy Birthday for Wednesday Gwyn. I hope that the family are able to visit.

It is my birthday the day before, or maybe the day after. I forget. Still, I don't "do" birthdays, but I would love to be able to visit the family. Our plans were to do just that this coming week but the current circumstances have meant FaceTime visits only. Lovely as these are, and the youngsters in the family are a joy to see, it isn't the same, is it?

We'll get through this somehow.
Nigel.

October seems to be a good time for birthdays - it's my birthday tomorrow. Nothing planned for the day. But decorating a bedroom starts the next day. Can't complain - the last time it was decorated was 30 years ago .

Happy birthday to you both!

Good luck with the decorating. We have spent quite a few weeks doing that in this house since we moved in, though we didn't rush into it all, a bedroom a winter. The previous owner just painted over the wallpaper, the ones before that just papered over the plasterboard, so it was not an easy job.

Reminds me of a Ken Dodd sketch where he describes a couple in the throes of passion, when she says: “That ceiling needs painting.....and when are you going to do something about the shed?”

So will you be giving her a shed or a newly decorated room?

I will get what I get most years. Nothing unless I think of something.
We redecorated "my" room last winter, but I did most of the work.
He can keep the sheds.
