You could probably buy all 4 for less than the price of a mini bottle from the mini bar!

Hope the new lockdown rules aren't affecting anyone to onerously.

Won't be long before we are back under "intelligent" lockdown again I think.
Booked a delivery slot for the next six months, just in case .
Hoping for a haircut on Saturday as well, but the hairdresser is awaiting the results of her test and the government may decide otherwise before then anyway.

Haircut? What's that??

I decided to take my last chance at rebellion and I haven't been near the hairdressers since March. I just hope the threatening baldness on top doesn't overtake my lengthening white tresses!

I been feeling it since 1966, now
Might be over now, but I feel it still....

anyway..

...the tomato plants have finally gone, leaving a tub of green fruit behind.

To be honest we haven't had that many red tomatos, hardly worth the trouble.

The green tom's are now simmering in a pan, chutney's on the way..

Picked the last of the apples yesterday. Given a load away and we still have more than we know what to do with.
Went flamingo hunting again today, but of course because I took a tripod and long lens the so and sos weren't there. Nice walk along the seadike though.
Haircut going ahead tomorrow, she tested negative. Could be the last one for some time looking at the figures .

Grew cherry tomatoes for the first time, delicious crop in mini greenhouse but outside ones still green. Recipes using the latter don’t look too appetising - green tomato jam anyone? Anyhow I have been embroiled in a photo project on the local allotments so have come away with sweet corn, beetroot, cucumbers etc. which is much easier than growing them. When the project reaches fruition (!) I will post here.

A fried egg yolk. My area is like a fried egg yolk.

All the surrounding egg white is under tighter lock-down rules.

Eat Out to Help Out is now Keep Out to Help Out.

Brings to mind an old Judy Collins song

"“Send in the Clowns,” in which clowns are a metaphor for the moment in a play when things are falling apart and, to keep the audience diverted from the chaos, somebody tells a few jokes."

One of our tech. service guys from Vlaardingen, who was married to an English lass, was always on about opening an English sausage shop in the Netherlands.
