Another pointless thread

Should have said next Friday

Must be getting old. Off to pack for the mystery tour.

Happy birthday for the 14th!!

How did the party go Gwyn.

Aghh I forgot - happy belated birthday Gwyn ☺

thanks guys.
I am on La Palma having a great time.
Sadly no chance of any astro-photography due to a nearly full moon, (it is one huge dark sky area)
but who cares? It is 26C, and I am enjoying myself

Friend of mine informed me last night that my image was being used to advertise a business fairly local to me. One email later with an invoice and the image is removed. They didn't mention anything about the invoice but I'm chasing it and not going to let it go. So frustrating people just think it's only an image, it's just a photograph, it doesn't matter, when actually it does. I wouldn't get an electrician or plumber in and then not pay them

Good for you Gareth. Get a big sign saying this firm used my photo illegally and didn't pay me. Then walk up and down outside their offices. As long as it's the truth they wont like it. Then get the local paper involved and the local TV station. They'll like that even less.
I'm a rotten sod aren't I??
Good luck.
CHEERS Vic.

All it took was a few emails, one that included a link to a governments PDF of I.P.C. They sensibly decided to accept my reduced payment offer for a quick settlement and are paying me today

I am pleased you have resolved issue Gareth.....I have been there.
John

Good for you Gareth. You'll be able to buy a new "MOON BOOT". The other one must be getting worn out by now.
CHEERS Vic.

lol! I think it is! Might by a 4x4 all terrain mobility scooter

saved that pdf - thanks for the link.

and well done you.

+1

A while ago I saw one of my work photos on someone else's website. As I didn't get a response I threatened their website designer with legal action for breaching copyright, even though his client had provided the photo, and got immediate action.

Starting down another path that far too many have had to endure. Mrs K10D starts chemo treatment tomorrow. We are both very positive and accept that this is where we are at this point in time.
