Another pointless thread

My wife and I wish we could be there too. We hope you will post lots of photos.

There is a photo in Saturday's Daily Telegraph that is supposed to be masts and rigging of the tops'l schooner Oosterschelde though the masts and spars of an adjacent square rigged ship make it all rather confusing.

Perfect day. Not a single phone call, not a single visitor, to interrupt me. My dear wife dealt with the laundry and we did not have to go to the shop for anything (Coop is just two minutes up the road). Got a lot done, but it has been tiring.

Back to reality after four weeks on the road in the camper.
Too hot to do anything about the photos I took while away.

We have had a lovely BBQ at our son's house this evening, with a chance to catch up on his time at the Olympics, and see the grandsons too, though one is poorly so we didn't see much of him.

I'll have to battle the heat tomorrow and walk down to the shops since the vet daughter-in-law is using the car after the head gasket blew on her Discovery while they were on holiday in Scotland.
Too awkward to try an park the camper at the supermarket.

Posting this whilst laid up on the sofa. Broke a bone in my foot yesterday and damaged the ligaments and tendons also by showing a few five year olds my football skills! Now I have a plaster cast up to my knee!

Luckily yesterday I shot a few images so that'll break the boredom tomorrow!

Ha! Wasn't even running about, just went to flick the ball behind me to turn and managed to twist my foot and snap something!

So you can't even console your self that it was worth it. Did they say how long you are laid up for?

Just back from La Raaj, so stuffed I can't face the beer in the fridge

spent the weekend in Coventry. Took a different array of cameras as nostalgia kicked in. My first digital camera C3040Z, my second digital camera, Dimage 7H and two recent cameras, an X100 Ltd and one of the Pentax Q's. What great fun shooting with lightweight, small cameras!
