^ agree about lightweight cameras. Although if you carry too many around eventually the weight of them all rather defeats the object....or does it?
My step-daughter got married on Saturday- I haven't had time to process any pics yet but I think the best one I got was with my QS-1 and 01 prime...
I wasn't the official photographer (thank God)

Windows 10 has been running great for weeks. Latest update installing for 7.5 hours, looks to be stuck on a restart. Thank goodness for Vista and my pimped Dell.

Mine has just finished updating - it took several restarts before it was complete, some taking a significant length of time

BBQ just finished and just decided not to buy any camera gear in October. Same then as the year so far. I guess the quality of my images must be suffering by now...........pours another glass of Limestone Coast red.

I haven't bought anything new for more than two years now.
Big birthday coming up so maybe I'll be given something then, but I doubt it.

Raining here finally. Sun again on Monday I hope, since we are off for a couple of days in the camper again.

No booze here

it's beginning to look like you haven't bought anything, because you're not at home long enough to order it!!!!

I'm pleased we are getting some global warming. At last the Green Tax is working.

I think I'll be having a few medicinal beverages later on.

Managed to fall up the stairs Saturday night as lost my balance on the crutches. Instinctively I put my foot out and put weight on it. Que the pain return and a return visit to the hospital, this time one in Cardiff as it was closer to our location yesterday. After a few x-rays it appears that not only have I done and I quote "extensive tissue damage" but not only have I bust the cuboid bone but I also have done the navicular so 2 bones bust for the price of 1. They couldn't get my original xrays from the other hospital so don't know if it was done the same time as the last break or if it's new but my guess is that it was missed first time around. Bummer. Doc has given me 3 weeks off work.

Two for the price of one eh Gareth. A bummer indeed. Take things easy, and let time do it's job. It is hard I know. Put the kids to work, waiting on you .

His Nibs developed a stinking cold yesterday, and took to his bed, declaring he was too ill to be sleeping in a camper. He too managed a few medicinal bevies this evening, and will no doubt be fighting fit for his band practice in a couple of days .

So no trip out to find rutting deer and wild boar for me . I didn't fancy long dark evenings on my own in the camper.

So I am getting a trip.

A Magical Mystery Tour. All I know is we are flying somewhere warm on Monday. So I shall be away, somewhere warm, for my 60th on Friday. The kids will have to wait for the birthday cake!

No K3II in my future then. That's OK though as I am happy with what I have, most of the time.
