I started with Associated RC 10's with electric and used a PB Alpha for the 1/8th scale racing. Never won a BGP though as Lewis has just done.

My grandson has one of those. He enjoys flying the thing for it's seven or so minutes. By the end he is getting bored with it anyway so is quite happy for it to recharge.
He has become very skilled at flying it, and the cheapo drone he recently acquired. Indoors only though - the slightest breeze and it is bye bye helicopter.

It's one o'clock and time for lunch,
bum de dum de dum
When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench
I can always hear them talk.
There's always been Pentax:
"Ricoh, wake up! You've got a winner with K-1."
And then there was Hoya:
"Isn't it time that they were out on there own?"
Over the other side, two little Canon's - cuckoo to you!
Keep them Ltd's sharp...
I know what I like, and I like what I know;
getting better with your lenses, shooting one beyond the show.
Me, I'm just a photographer - you can tell me by the way I talk.

Just downloaded and installed the Windows 10 Anniversary upgrade......four hours and five minutes from start to finish Good ole BT Internet - worth every penny it cost me for 1.9Mbs.
You have been warned!

I did it the other day. I forced the download of it as I didn't want to risk it wanting to update my laptop on some poor campsite's wifi later this week. It stalled on my PC, left a circling the drain symbol up all night. So I was brave and turned it off and on again. That kick started it nicely.
The update on the laptop took a good few hours, I didn't time it, but the file download doesn't take long at all it's the actual update that takes quite a while, with lots of restarts along the way.
Two big updates due next year apparently.

Microsoft Edge is really unstable. It does not always load. When it does it occasionally loses all your favourites.
How did you get to know about the upgrade? Surely the software should self update?
