We've the normal amount of rain for November in the first week, and up to last night only three hours of sunshine (total!) for the first week .
It is already one of the five wettest autumns since 1901 here and there is no let up in sight.
A village near here was hit by a tornado on the 3rd, which caused a lot of damage.

Took the dog out at 8 and slipped on black ice, then noticed all the puddles are frozen but roses are still coming out in the garden. Puzzled.

Good games of rugby today. Scotland didn't embarrass themselves and Ireland played well. Shame for Wales.
At Murrayfield for the next two weeks
