Pointless! Pointless, I tell you what`s pointless. Trying to install a Canon Pixma MG5450 series printer on a windows 8 jobbie. Just can`t get it recognised. Never mind it`s work tomorrow.

Not more Windows bashing? It really gets very boring.

Things have gone beyond the pale now! can`t advance to Windows 8.1 now either. Just keeps saying it`s got a problem. Enough of the pointless stuff now, three fingers of Scotch to sort out.

Sorry Gwyn, all I was trying to do was install printer drivers any which way I can. All turns out a bit pointless.

Not you Cedric, I meant Stan.
If in doubt enjoy a Scotch and try again tomorrow.
I know there was some new update for 8.1 due so maybe you have got caught by that. His Nibs had a problem with his new HP printer on W8 but found the right driver eventually, via a Windows help page I believe.
I'm currently enjoying a glass of Cotes du Rhone. His Nibs is watching Ripper Street, which we recorded, so I have retreated to my nest.

True enough, but Cedric said he was going to have a Scotch. A cup of tea would have worked just as well.

Hmmm, I thought the answer was 42 but I can`t remember the question either. Wish my brain was the size of a universe then I might have remembered.

Just opened the last bottle of Wainwrights, looks like atrip to Booths is on the books this week..
