Are you saying that taking your dog for a walk in ScotlandWhat about the Rugby league world cup thingy, with the Australia a, b, c, d and e teams competing under the guise of other countries, like Italy?
means your not qualified to play for their National Side
Italy seem a very good side and at least they all have
Italian surnames.
I'm not going to any of the matches this year, but went to
quite a few in 2000 and they were good entertainment. The
crowd usually supported the underdogs even when England
were playing. Some really top talent on show.
Some tries from 2008 held in Australia....

Algi, I know of at least one Australian playing for Italy has never been to the country, can't speak a word of the language, and didn't even know he would be playing for them until 3 weeks before the competition started.
Not all of them have Italian surnames.
Sorry to hear your not feeling so good Gareth, nothing serious I hope? I can imagine that Whitby on a cold, miserable wet November day is enough to make anyone feel poorly.

It's not too bad if you have the spirit to ward off the demons

Did someone mention Rugby :
I'm a Rugby Union fan and can't get my head around rugby league but it would seem neither can the Welsh team
Autumn International against South Africa on Saturday - I intend to consume beer and some bacon hock butties whilst watching it
Hope you feel better soon Gareth
Scarlets play Dragons in the LV Cup on Friday but so far I can't find a tv listing for this if there is one

Cheers Howard - it's good to hear from you
Not sure how I missed that - I clearly didn't check sky properly
I am feeling better thanks but not yet 100% however improvement is good
Saturdays beer has been enlisted for both possibilities
I've got to dash my better half needs picking up now - back to taxi duty

Thanks all. I'm fully recovered now, but had to bow out early on the day.
Miserable drive back, but I think I missed most of the weather.

Unlike the weather that didn't miss an awful lot of Goths and Steampunks...
....we were in a restaurant when the heavens opened...
.....so the girls had sweets to finish of the meal, and avoid the rain/wind/horror outside.
I like my female family members, they're sensible.

Well you had to, or the Gatling gun would have swollen and seized
