'Fraid not John, the package was a small parcel before Monday, but now is too big for the small parcel gauge by 5mm or so...

Old size was 12 x 12 x12 cm cube or 45 x 35 x 8 cm maximum. New size is 35 x 25 x 16cm or 45 x 35 x 8 cm.

Did your parcel fit into either of those? If it did then they may have made a mistake.
Best regards, John

Hi Cedric

Thanks for asking - I am improving, to be honest if I hadn't been so ill I would say that I feel ill but now by comparison I feel a lot better if still no where near 100% however I am improving day by day - woo hoo

I may have a beer later as for some strange reason I haven't had much lately

I have not tried rum & blackcurrant - perhaps I should

Totally agree HG. The logic behind Rum & Black is this: Went to listen/watch the Fairey band last Saturday in Ipswich Corn Exchange. Now this so happens to be opposite The Swan. Now, more years ago than I can remember I was at a mates Stag do. Guess what, I spent all evening drinking Rum & Black, so much so that after walking (I think as I don`t remember)home. I was spewing up loads of red stuff so that I thought I was dying. Having stuffed myself with cheese & beetroot sarnies only added to the colour. So, since then Cedric D steered clear of Rum & Black until after Saturday`s Gig when I thought to myself heigh ho let`s give Rum a go.
Enjoy life

I used to work with a bloke who drank lager and blackcurrant.

Sorry if the thought of that has given you a relapse Stuey.

Lager & Black used to be popular with the ladies, I used to find it quite amusing when bar staff would mix the wrong drink black when you'd asked for lime and vice versa, fotunatley (for them) my wife was agreeable to either.
What I did find odd on one occasion was a roomful of butch footie players drinking Lager Tops, of course we were down near Oxford at the time so I suppose they'd count as soft southern jesses

And I think it's time we changed the subject away from Lager, currently sat in the B&B ready for the Goth Weekend, and really looking forward to tomorrow evening and......BEER!

Lager tops and lager shandy are popular with footballers (both with a round and an oval ball) as the first drink after a match. After that they get onto the serious task of drinking.

Enjoy your weekend in Whitby. I shall look forward to the photos as usual.

Now I'm off to my bed. Too late for any booze here.
