There are far too many people using the Post Office so they are trying to cut the numbers by making it difficult so send post, rather like the railways putting up prices so they will use road or air instead

Thanks John. I ended up sending it via a courier, that MikeP recommended some time ago, with a broader tolerance of parcel size and weight.
I find www.myhermes.co.uk to be good and quick.

www.collectplus.co.uk are good for heavy things (if you don't need them there quickly). The best bit is if the other party doesn't mind collecting them at a shop, you can send big & bulky items very cheap.

Check out this moneysavingexpert page.

(Apologies in advance if I conveyed a point).

Is everyone off the booze??
What can be more pointless than trainspotting!

If you look up Pointless in a Dictionary it just gives
'Trainspotting' as the definition

I have a friend who owns an old bus. It's in a museum and he spends quite a bit of time there. It's quite interesting seeing all the old buses I used to travel on in days of yore....
Best regards, John

Old buses or motor vehicles of any sort not a problem, I own a 1968 David Brown 990 tractor for shows and fun, but I don't go out into fields with a note pad and flask looking for them

But not friends with it at the moment, as it killed my last K5

I used to look at the trains when I was waiting for
a bus home from school

Eddie Stobart spotting is also pointless and very sad

Tractor following is very popular with country folk...
every time you see a tractor 12 cars are following it

I always hope, like many others to win a lottery. Number one purchase would be the largest slowest tractor available. I want a following
