What's with the complaints. It's only May!
Summer is due the first weekend in September so it will be a little cold until then.
(I might have to get the winter bike gear back out. Bloody cold at 7am today.)

As good an excuse as any Ken .
We are heading to the UK for a week at the end of the month so I was looking at the Beeb's monthly forecast. Looks from that like we should head to Scotland rather than our intended destination. A shame as everything is booked now.

We had Australian extended family staying with us last week, they truly thought they would be having 'barbies' every night. I had to explain that Scotland was the Land of Rusting Barbecues.
At the Womens 10k race yesterday, a Nikon user asked me if I wasnt worried about my camera being soaked, 'No', I replied, 'Its a Pentax' and slowly walked away trying to ignore the horizontal rain stabbing me in the face like a fork.

Just wait until June. If the Beeb says it will be lovely in Scotland it must be right.
