cheap raynox solution to macro
I cannot comment on this one but I have a Marumi close-up filter which gives excellent results, the difference being it has a conventional thread so for different size lenses needs an adaptor ring. Handy and small enough to keep in the bag for when an opportunity arises.

I often leave genuine caps at home, taking only generic ones if I think I might lose them. I once got a genuine M stlye cap stuck on a no-brand filter on my M80-200, it took a bit of twisting to get it off.
