If you don't mind cleaning up a bit of fungus.....
Well done, LennyBloke, that was helpful. Not for me but for someone who has the skills, (and there are many on this site), this will not be a problem. It's a bargain, that's for sure.

If you don't mind cleaning up a bit of fungus.....
Yep they're still there. Good price. I'd personally bin or sell the zooms as they are, then have a go at the primes. Also worth noting is that each of these lenses has a cemented group which is prone to separation so that could complicate things. If they're still around in a few days I might b...

If you don't mind cleaning up a bit of fungus.....
Thanks for the heads up guys, I have snapped them up, they will be a project for me when we get back to the UK in November. The primes should be really simple to clean, I've done a fair few over the years. Not really interested in cleaning the zooms, these will go back up for sale 'as is'. Chee...

K10D converted to IR
I've never tried IR, UV or full spectrum photography (or X-ray or gamma ray ). But as far as I understand these things, full spectrum means that the sensor gets IR and UV as well as visible light. What the image looks like must therefore depend on the balance between the three. If IR and UV...

LCE Group.
Here's a link to the K-1 camera: Which has a shutter count of 3998 and a clean sensor (I'm half considering it as a 2nd body)

Park Cameras Deal on K-3III
I personally always thought that the K3iii was overpriced for what it offered. The very fact that Ricoh Pentax could not offer a tilt screen, was a huge mistake. I have said this before on its launch I think the K1 or ii is still by far the better option, a lot slower yes, but that FF sensor is...

Pentax K-01
there's rumours and speculations and even photos and sketches floating around. Why not post the latest ones here? Pentax is about to release a k-mount Evil class camera based on the k-5 sensor. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Pentax K-01
40mm = 60mm on 35mm????? Who in their right mind would choose that as a standard lens???... they are normally wider? Puts to bed any speculation about a FF sensor I guess! Yes the 40mm was a bizarre choice, 21mm would have been better, and scarcely thicker. A totally new 30mm would have bee...

Pentax K-01
No viewfinder and uses same battery as K-5. TBH the Sony sensor in the K-5 is about as good as it gets for a crop camera and I would be more than happy to have one in a mirrorless body. At the end of the day (for me at least) it will come down to AF speed, whether you can see anything on the s...
