Pentax K1 and Samyang 14mm 2.8
Here are some pics.. This is confirmation of the shutter count, as anticipated much less than the 15000 I conservatively quoted. Here's a pic of the sky at f/32 to show the sensor dust/debris... ...just to clarify, the lines are telephone wires! ...

Pentax MX-1
Whoever bought it is a lucky person! I don't use mine very often (mainly KP now) but, when I do, the image quality even SOOC still amazes me. Better than other similar small sensor cameras I've had (Fuji, Samsung, Lumix, Olympus) all of which have been sold. Ebay prices appear to show that the MX-1 ...

FS: Trioplan, Takumars, Pentax and other MF, film lenses.
Right, probably going to be some seller's regret on my part but these will pave the way for another purchase and I need to consolidate the 'stash'. Pentacon 30mm f/3.5 M42 - purchased from Lennybloke (if I'm not mistaken). Nice little lens, no obvious issues. Works well. - £35. Super-Takumar 3...

WTS - Pentax A* 135mm f1,8 - NEAR MINT
These are as good as they look by the way :) Imagine wide open sharpness that challenges the K-1 sensor, with deep creamy bokeh. It doesn't compromise on contrast either. You've just got to keep the long focal length under control and the lens handles everything else.

For sale for parts or repair: Pentax K3 body
I did pick up a perfect K100d to replace the istDS for the princely sum of £15 😊 I like the 6mp sensor magic , the viewfinder is ok on the K100d and user interface better. Sorry to derail this thread.

Smc Pentax F* 300/4.5
I possibly have a duff one. Put the two side by side and the difference is immediately apparent. It stays in its case most of the time because there's not much point humping it around. I only bought it because everyone said how good they were. And, yes, I have tried various tweaks to correct the foc...
