Hi, I recently got my first Pentax (K30). Not had a chance to really use it yet but hopefully very soon. It looks like a decent camera, a massive step up from my old 35mm SLR :) Hopefully this camera will get me back into photography and allow me to build a good portfolio.

My Pentax Journey
I started photography with a Pentax KM a bit over 30 years ago, this seemed ever so slightly different from the K1000 which seemed to be ubiquitous, but I don't recall what the difference was (just checked on wikipedia: seems it was the self-timer and depth of field preview).
