Welcome, Stuart!! Sad to say, but your colleagues at your Hounslow branch extol the virtues of Nikon and Canon. Is that a sackable offence??

Cheers all.
Steve - That doesn't surprise me, though I do hope it's Jessops staff doing that and not my fellow Pentax reps.
It's great when someone who comes in to look at the 600/650 (or even the 550/1100) then gets shown around the K30, the build quality/weather-sealing and twin control dials seem to be most peoples favourite thing with it, they rarely go back to the Canons.
But Pentax really should get to work on a good value FF, got to play around with a 5D Mk3 recently, a seriously nice camera that, and the 6D is tiny for a FF.
Hope to have a go on a 645 one day, been obsessing over stock images from that this week, the depth and cropping is amazing on it.

It's my first DSLR but I have very much taken to it and judging by the people I see during the weekend it seems others are appreciating the great quality and price of the K30.
Learning lots from this forum too so whilst I won't post much but shall continue to enjoy reading your tips and stories
